I've just split up with my husband. We've been together 9 years and married 4. My friend heard about it and she sent me this in a message...

How wonderful is that!!!??? This is a friend that I see very rarely, however, when I REALLY needed her, she was there!!!

well first, I reckon I could not read your question without hearing a very southern accent in my head....
Wow, someone should call the men in the little white coats after me...them there folks in my head are talking again.
Alright, enough of my non-sense.
That is a very nice poem. We all need to have someone in our lives that is there for us even if it only when we really need them. I have one really close friend like that and I know how special it can make you feel to have some one care about you like that.
I am sorry to hear that you split from your husband, but I am sure you will see your way through it and with the support of your friend you will do fine.
I also hope that you will remember her kindness and be there for her should the need ever arise.

I reckon you are blessed just like I am...I'm lucky enough to have a best friend like this..for 30yrs now! Loyal, lifelong friends are the most important thing in life, if you ask me. Men come and go, Kids grow up and move out, But the true friend is always there. Good for you...And, Good luck with this new phase of your life!!! I hope you're excited and not scared,, Excited is much more fun.

It is so heartening to see you have a true friend...we all need this! And I am sure you have a friend like this because you are the same friend to her! I was sent a lovely piece like this from someone I talk to on yahoo...look in my 360 to read..it made me weep!
