After years of listening to whining abut the toilet seat being left up; who thinks that we should all have urinals in our house and then that would end the problem?
For the other action we could do it like the French and just have a hole in the ground.

Yeah good idea, then we wouldnt have to keep nagging for that darn lid to be put DOWN..... IT would stop all the arguemants and everything... LOL Good Idea

I have never understood why this is an issue! I grew up in a family of 7 (3 female, 4 male). We never paid a bit of attention to it. The guys would leave it up if they just peed, the gals would leave it down at all times. If the other sex used it next, they would put it the way they wanted it. I mean what's the big deal??? I just don't get it! Now as a gentleman, when I'm in someone's else's house where there are women present, I put it down. I don't think that's even a necissity. I just do it as a courtesy and certainly don't expect them to put it UP for me. But to those who worry about such things as whether the toilet seat should be left up or down I say "Get a freaking life!" It's about as important as which way the toilet paper should unwind from the roller (over or under).

How about you guys, sitting down to pee? Besides even if the seat is up, you still miss that big 12 inch hole, and splatter on the floor.

It's not an issue imo and it really shouldn't be anywhere. Why do men have to concede to putting it down all the time?
Ladies, learn to work the toilet seat.
You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down.
We need it up, you need it down.
You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.

hey that's a good idea. that would solve the toliet seat issue.
but that would probaly open the door for them to find something new to whin about (lol)
