I dont think gay is something you chose to be or not. Either you are homosexual or you are heterosexual. Or even bisexual. You can't work it out or stop being "it".
If you see guys that like to be gay, it must be the relief of getting to live their life out of the closet. Not being afraid of what parents or friends will think and say. Everyone has a right to live the life they chose, and being in love is the best part of it.

A lot of gay guys do not like to be gay. They just are.
Do we like to have 5 toes on each foot? Maybe. Maybe not. We probably don't think about it much. But they are a integral part of who we are and without them we'd fall over.
It's kind of like that.
