In response to Lotharios answer it takes a real man to shed tears, it takes a wimp to critise

Real man are not stoic and impervious to emotions. Real men feel for we are all human beings. The only difference is how we deal with those hurts. Some people eat, other people go on shopping sprees, ohers go for hair cuts as symbolism, and yes some cry too.

Granted that real men dont WEEP at the drop of a hat ( oh what a beautiful sunrise, what a beautiful xbox, God that was a great cheeseburger *weep*) because then they would reallllly BE PANSIES and a disgrace to manhood BUT i think those reasons the previous answers have been are real valid

I think you haven't experienced anything as earth-shattering as the REAL MEN who have posted earlier. I think knowing what you feel and acknowleding it is something we all should do, as compared to being how society views real men should be.

A man only cries when he is truely in love and that is a rare thing they do. I am proud of all the men here who have cried for their loved ones.

The last time I cried was when my daughter was first born, she grabbed my pinkie finger and looked at me and smiled, I never felt something like that before!

Well, I have to say that I get a little watery at something that reminds me of things that happened in a past relationship I had. She was the love of my life but we grew apart. I am single now but old feelings come back when certain things spark the memories.

I'm a woman, but my 6 year old daughter told my 4 year old son that he cried like a baby. My 4 year old son snapped back with "No, I don't! I cry like a man!".

i know it says sheri, she is my wife, and I cry when someone dies i love or when it is needed, men need not feel they can not cry because only girls cry, everybody cries and i am not ashamed to show my emotions, sometimes crying is a good way to release anger so you dont get high blood pressure

and got hardly any decent answers. Hope you do better; you seem to have got a few here. Along with the likes of Lothario, yawn...

PS I like Aaron's answer. Go Aaron!
