I had allowed my professional details tobe put up on a company websitewhen I was a part of the business. Now I am out of the company but my profile and details contines on the website. My partner promised to remove my profile from the website but contines to use it as it is advantageous to him and benefits his business. How can I get the website altered by myself without his help? Can I get compensated as long as my name and details are used by him without my consent?Looking for suggestions.

Contact a local law firm and ask them to write a letter on your behalf to your former partner. I have found that the implied threat of legal action is generally low cost and sufficient to get action.

Best of success.

since the website is not open for the Public to post their Profiles ,Ido not expect that you can do removal by your self i.e by deletion of registration. You can only do so by a legal action demanding deletion & compensation. But to prove that your Profile remained at least long time after you had left ,or even after the legal action, you may need to make photos for the relevant webpage of your Profile .But another problem is: How could you prove the dates on which your Profile remained unremoved? You should consult a Law Office in order to get proper answers. These are mere ideas.

Good Luck! I highly recommend your immediately get yourself a PO Box if your personal information includes a "street address" - then notify all of your creditors of your "mail address (PO Box #). This has saved me from "many chances of ID Theft".
