Currenty there are no new episodes, but they are having a campaign to send 1,000 paper cranes to the director and ask him to make more.
I joined in at Otakon last year. So, now we just have to wait.

There aren't any plans to make more episodes in Japan but the idea hasnt been shot down completely. The manga is ALOT better and goes on alot further than the anime series. You can read volumes 10-18 here if you dont want to buy them http://www.thespectrum.net/manga.shtml#furuba

I hope there was. But from the Furuba (Fruits Basket) last episodes till now, there is no sign that Furuba will come to second season.
I hope they will, because i little disappointed with the ending.
Now I'm reading the manga.

No, its been too long now and it came out b4 the manga in eng, and theres nothing about it in japan so if there is its gonna take forever.

I didn't like how it ended either! But i didn't like the manga either cuz it's Kyo x Tohru!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAH!!!!!!! So i rather leave the anime like that cuz it doesn't really say it's Kyo x Tohru! *grins selfishly* Haha! It doesn't look like they're making it though........
