a computer is useless until someone programs it.
It can be programmed to do almost anything at all. Including switching on and off all your household appliances, even when you are not home.
PC;s control NASA
PC's can be a big calculator.
PC's can net search, email.
PC's can be a great gaming machine.
PC's can become a tv, video, dvd player, photo album and a phone,
PC can be a glorified programmed cash register.
PC's can control electronic signage.
PC's can do surgery and control robots for surgery
PC's can drive and fly us places.
PC's can be programmed to teach and train us on anything.
Basically as you can see it is not just a home pc with windows.
It can be used for many many things. Every day a new use or more is developed to either control, calculate, program, schedule
develop and even train and teach people to do almost anything.
The possibilites are literally endless
