Not true...
just a few years back (not that long ago, anyway) they had a house show in Singapore. They even wanted to have a house show in Malaysia, but cancelled that one.
I heard that Cena rapped in Chinese... and Ric Flair made a special appearance and beat A-Train.
Long before that, I think WWE has come to Singapore a few times too. Apparently, Ric Flair was very popular with Singaporeans.

well, Could it be Singapore is just a dot on the world map? Just imagine, if we have regular schedules of WWE shows/ppvs like twice a week and each ticket cost at least SG$100.00 nett...How many times will you go? Unless you have lots of $$$, otherwise if you commit yourself to ever single show, you'll be bound to bankrupt. Maybe because of this, no one in this country DARE to setup these types of business.

don't worry someday or prabably this year... or maybe newt year i don't know there will be a live event there for sure. here's why. you see im from philippines and since the first time i watched wwe i always hoped for them to have a live event here and they did just last february 2006 and it was awesome! for 2 days the crowd was full ans i jave to say it was successful. you see philippines is just a samll country and even wwe remembered to give us a live event... philippines is not that popular but see vince is just that generous and how much more for the country singapore?

wrestling game is the combination of brain, strength,power and height. but the singapores are small and short so no use of wrestling.
also it costs a lot and we asians cannot afford that.
