I do not pretend to have either the knowledge, or the supreme ability to offer advice to another person. There is no "one-size fits all" when it comes to giving advice to someone whose life experiences are not the same as the advisor. Personally, I like what Mark Twain said, "Always do the right thing. That will satisfy most people and astound the rest." The advice my dad gave sticks with me, "In the end, all that will remain forever is the judgement on a person's life."

Here are some options! You Choose which fits you!

7) It's not enough that we do our best; Sometimes we must do what is required. (Winston Churchill)

Well some of those other answers were pretty long and involved, but I'll try to do it in one sentence.
As I would tell my children ...
Live your life as though you were looking backward through a time machine ... pursue your dreams, but not at anyone else's expense. And when that tiny little voice whispers in your ear, listen! It's your wise self ... and it knows the answers you need to hear.
Darn! That's more than one sentence ... but such a big subject it deserves more.

In regard to living your life the only words of advice i can give is "do" & "do it well".
Some pointers in how:
Simple basics.....Do positive things and do them well. Smile. Express your true feelings... when you are happy express happiness... when you are angry express your anger... when you are sad express your sadness. Do not blame anyone or yourself.
Be more responsible with yourself and your environment... whether it be your room or house or the planet.
Maintain a standard of living that you are comfortable with that makes you want to get up in the morning and live. (keep things tidy - keep yourself tidy it tells U that U care) Do not accept laziness and apathy with in your self. Do better, do your best. It is a privilege to live, to breathe... to be able to make a difference... and you never know you might just make someone else's day.
The next pointer is very important. Want to take care of yourself. The best friend you can ever have is yourself....
Remember these keys....
"Good Morning"
"How are you?"
"THank you"
"Please"
"May I"
"Can I."
"Good Night"
A Law of spiritual physics-
The more responsible you become with yourself and your environment the more freedom you will have.
Peace.

Be optimistic, believe in what you believe, never say "too many friends", live life healthy and to its fullest. Be the best that you can be without others with the same moral that you have or similar put down.
Ya I know, more like list that sounds like something everyone is going to tell you... but sometimes that "sound" needs to be listened to.
I also know that this answer exceeds "1 sentence"...lol... I apologize

Everything happens for a reason. Even the things that look like mistakes, or disappoint you at the time will work out. You'll look back and think, well I really wanted taht job, but if I had got it I'd never have met such and such or learned sucha and such, or had this opportunity...
Everything will work out in the end. Have faith in the weird ways of the world.

"The Past is History, The Future is a mystery, Live fully in the present-- for it is a gift from God..." and this is the only life you're going to live. I guess we are all going to have our ups and downs but with our friends and family by our side we can do anything. The key to having it ALL is already believing it! :-) I hope this helps!! Have a wonderful week!

Never compromise your values, morals or ethics. If you do you may well "move up" and gain power, money or perks but the price we pay down the line is, as I see it, devastating. And if there is an afterlife, you may well wish there hadn't been. Think outside the box while you use common sense in dealing with a world confined inside the box.
