never think of it this way... if time was to hold still then while time is holding still there is another time line which is moving okay let me put it this way... we are never still we are always moving u might not think it but it is true. We are on earth, earth rotates and revoloves around the sun, our solar system is always revolving around in our galaxy and our galaxy always revolving in a cluster so on so we're never still... and time will never stand still... because when it is standing still, it actually still is moving forward damn it i can't find the words to expalin it lol... let me try another way lets say your watching a movie and you pause it at 40min does that mean time is holding still? the answer is no, the time might be still in a sense that it is still on ur dvd but it is still moving in the world... lol i tried to expalin it the best i could lol ... sorry if i didn't help

Maybe, but if everything would stop, we wouldnt know, would we? Even we and our brains would have stopped. By the way, there is no such thing as time and this is scientific crap I am talking about. Time is nothing but change in matter, ask any physicist. If nothing would change, not even our brain and neuron synopsis, time would have been said to stand still and since even our brains have stopped, we wouldnt notice it. Even if you are stuck in the same few minutes or hours of your existence, you wouldnt notice if your memory wouldnt be carried forward everytime. Remember, no memory, no time. Imagine that.

Time doesn't move. We do.
The question should be, "Do we ever stand still?" And the answer is that as long as we are in existence, we don't.

yes. the earth roates once every 24 hours. every four years we have leap year as it takes four years for the earth to rotate around the sun. in the universe the have found area's that time goes forward and backward. the faster you go, the slower time gets. magnetic energy changes time. in the bermuda triangle it has shown that magnetic force of energy from the earth has cuased time warps. military experiments have proven it. the most famous is the philidephia experiment. in the triangle, planes have flown through what pilots call a vortex and in just a seconds of time they are a hundred miles from where they were.

The concept of time is related to the order in which things exist in the universe. The order of things in the universe continously changes. Therefore, the time has to change. It cannot stand still.

Possibly. As you approach the event horizon of a Black Hole (check Singularity) gravity increases and time slows. Beyond the boundry between the 'real' world' and whatever is inside, the math suggests that time approaches as close to zero as it can get.

poetically, when you meet your true love maybe...
but scientifically it would only happen when something moves at the speed of light, which also according to relativity, is impossible for matter. Energy might be able to make time stand still in it's own frame of reference, but it still take time to travel from one place to another in our frame of reference. That's why we have light years to measure distance. light takes time to travel...
so the short answer is:
according to relativity, it is impossible for matter (humans, rocks, etc.) to travel at the speed of light. and that is the only known way to make time stand still. Therefore... NO
