Hello, I asked this question but got wrong answers, maybe i worded it wrong. I know how to check the lock toolbars tab thats obvious but not what i need.
I need to have a browser that launces to a default website. I want to remove the address bar and then disable any access to the forementioned controls so the address bar can not be put back and used. I can log on as admisistraror and the users log on with their own login. I think i have to set some permissions for the IE while logged on as admistrator. I'm sure it can be done i rememberthat did a similar thing at my school so you couldn't right click anything.
Please help!!!!
thank you!
Iain

To disable changes to View > Toolbars,
First remove Address Bar from Toolbars menu.
Type
gpedit.msc
in Start > Run and click OK.
In the "Group Policy Object Editor", navigate as follows:
User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer > Toolbars.
Click on Toolbars. In the right pane, double click "disable customizing browser toolbars". Select Enable and click Apply and OK.
Close all browser windows and reopen for changes.

This will disable the Toolbars menu. There are plenty of other options also. Read the explanations carefully and use accordingly.

Good Luck.

You will need to change the rights in the user profiles. Depending on the type of account (I imagine they are mandatory accounts), you will need to use profile mamgement tools on the server to restrict rights and disable things in IE.
