No don't act like you meant to do that, it's so lame, everyone knows you're lying and it would be more embarrasing.

If you slip and fall on an icy patch, roll across the ice. Get up quickly and continue walking away, never mind that your groceries have spilled all over the parking lot. Pay them no mind. If you act like nothing happened, maybe people will question what they saw.

With people hooked up to i pods all the time. Just come out of it dancing like Kevin Bacon in the song 'cut lose'. or say something like I thought that was a shinny penny? turned out to be a crack from hell! or tripped on my grave! or Ghost crossing, or Time warp, Or if in a crowd yell damn it I said not so close! and look around.

I'll give you a few
a. if you are the dramatic type start screaming your lungs out
b. Just pretend like you meant to do it
c. casually get up and pretend it never happened
d. make sure you drop something so some one will help you up
e. just lokk at everyone and say "you never saw anything" and dissapear into the shadows.
f. laugh and act like you thought it was funny even though you don't
