Congratulations on being pregnant and having a baby girl. Jaime can be spelled in many different ways. Here are some ways it can be spelled: Jaimie, Jaimee and Jaimi. Know matter how you spell it the name means "I love". Sometimes when naming babies people like to find out the meaning which makes it extra special. Every way you spell it except Jaimi(Modern English Name) it is a French name. Good luck on naming your baby!!!

Jaime is a unisex name, maybe you can find something else. Not that Jaime's a bad name, it's a fine name! But you still have time to come up with something a little more unique. Just keep an open mind about names.

Jaime, Jaimee, Jayme, Jaymee, (I actually know someone named "Jme"), I personally like the "ae" spellings of names. My daughters name is Sophie Mae.

Maybe you could try Jaemi, or Jaemee. It's not a very common spelling for the name, and gives it that extra "I pondered it for a long time" touch.

My parents spelled my sister's name Jamie and in college she started spelling it Jayme but she's gone back to the traditional spelling my parents gave her. By the way, her middle name works great with her first, Jamie Marie. Just in case you can't think of one! Congratulations on the little one!

For girls I've seen it spelled Jaymee and Jaimee, I guess they think the extra E on the end makes it more feminine. It's a nice gesture for memorialize your grandfather. Congrats and good luck with the baby!

My daughter's name is Jamie. It's often written (mistakingly) Jaime and she's put down on the list as a male. So if you name your daughter Jaime, she's going to get that a lot.

Sorry about the loss of your grandfather. While my grandpa is still alive, I also gave my middle son his name (as a middle name).

The way you have spelled it is just perfect!! If you get into funky spelling, I think it takes away from the name.
