If someone offer u to be friend, first I will see what type of friendship offer. There are two kind of Friend; one is JUST FRIEND and other is BEST FRIEND. I can become open (JUST) friend within a minute, but if the offer is for best friend then I will have to take a time to think and wait for some time to evaluate that friend. Simply becoming a friend in today's world is very risky and danger. Any one can become a friend, but without any valid reason it is very impossible to accept the offer. This is also differ from person to person. But for me I take the above action for the offer.

What in real life or on here? I wouldnt want to make friends with someone I had never met...how would you know if you really liked them?

In this life we all need friends...friends come in all different packages...and if you truly find a good friend you have found something very good indeed...if you are a good friend to others then you will attract good friends to yourself...start this friendship and see how it develops...wish you well!

It depends on the circumstances and you would probably have to analyse their situation and motives first. Unfortunately not all people who say they want to be your friends have good intentions.

turn them down. my list of so called friendships and their ends:
C. - got a girlfriend and &&&&ed off
P. - totally boring and a user
R. - moved to Canada and didn't keep in contact
K. - typical girl, always got problems that wants to tell you, then leaves for somewhere else and doesn't keep in contact. also secretly hates you for not fancying her
