I had a baby 4 months ago, before I had her my periods were sometimes irregular but I would have them every month just different times, Since I had her I get my period on the 16th of every month, around the 5th of this month after I went pee I noticed brown on the toilet paper so I thought I was getting Aunt flo anyhow I put on a pad and nothing would leek onto it, it was only after I used the restroom I would wipe and notice a little blood nothing big not even enough for a teaspoon. Anyhow I have all the symptoms of my period cramps, tired, bitchy. This has never happened to me before I am so scared. My period is 6 days late, I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago and it was negative. I am so scared I have cancer or something someone please help...

Well congrats on the baby :) I would think of a few things to eliminate before even thinking of cancer. Don't worry yourself like that, the only thing you get out of that is a panic attack. I don't think anyone has a normal period after giving birth for a couple of months, but I would also ask myself, am I drinking enough water? Is this a bladder infection? You really should talk to your gyno about these things if you are that scared. They will help you understand the after affects of your body healing from child birth. :) You say it's only when you wipe. To me that means something from the bladder...otherwise you would have spotting on your panties between times.

It more than likely is the birth control you are using now and periods change after having a baby for example I now bleed only 3 days when before it was always 5

It's doubtful that you have cancer but it should be checked out by your GYN Doc any way.

If the blood is when you pee then it is from your bladder and not your vagina. But to make sure of that wipe right before you pee and then after and find out if it is your bladder or not...

If it is not present before hand then it is most likely NOT from the vaginal area.
Bladder cancer is not something that I have heard of so that should help you feel better.

It may be as simple as a urinary infection and that too would make you feel like crap.

Are you breast feeding? On birth control like depo? If so this could cause your periods to be weird. The brown is old blood. It's actually kond of normal. Call your OB/GYN and make an appointment if you are concerned.
