how will your skin react if your are in an airconditioned room 8 hours a day?

The AC is meant to dry up moisture from the air and it also dries up the moisture from your skin. Being under a constant air conditioned environment will dehydrate your skin and can dehydrate your eyes and nasal passages as well.
You need to keep your skin extra hydrated. Keep lotion with you on hand and moisturize often. Drink water often and try to avoid caffeinated products and excess sodium as these can dehydrate your body and skin further.
Some people who can't tolerate the dryness of an air conditioned environment use an air humidifier.

Better then if you were in 100 degree weather for 8 hours a day.

it may dry out, but it feels good. better than being outside in 105 degree heat.
