Who cares? So gay people exist. So what? Let them live their lives and you live yours. You can be against it all you want, but you'll end up with nothing but stress and anger in a world that still has gays. Why put energy into being bothered?

Interesting.

Did you know that the University of Georgia did a study with a group of heterosexual non-homophobic (they didn't mind gay people) men and a group of heterosexual homophobic (they were against them all the way) men?

The men were each put in a private room, their penises were hooked up to a monitor that could determine how aroused they were, and they were shown a series of pornographic clips in random order.

All the men reacted more or less the same to the straight and lesbian porn.

The kicker was when they were shown gay porn.

The non-homophobic men were unaroused, with only about 20% of them showing any sign of arousal.

The homophobic men however had only 20% that were not aroused. Roughly 80% showed signs of arousal (blood flow increase, penis beginning to erect, and etc.) With almost 60% becoming fully erect while watching the video.

This supports a theory in psychiatry that most homophobia comes from repressed sexual interest in other males by the male who is homophobic. The results shocked the researchers, who really expected to put that idea to rest from what I've heard, and instead gave it unexpected clinical support.

I have heard, though not yet seen in writing that a similar study is now being done by Harvard Medical and that initial, prepublication results demonstrate the same results. Those who go against gays all the way, mostly actually are attracted to them.

I don't know why you have the stance you have -- but I just want you to remember that you are special and wonderful, no matter what you feel inside. What you may think are your greatest weaknesses may well be your greatest strengths. Believe in yourself, and know that you are loved and accepted, even if you reject and hate others.

Kind regards,

If all gay people were to emigrate to Antartica, how would this benefit straight people? Would straights have better relationships? Would they become richer? Would quality of life increase? if so, then how?

When you walk down a hotel corridor at night, all the bedroom doors are generally closed and some rooms have couples. You can't see who they are or what they're doing because the doors are closed. What difference does it make if there is a gay or straight couple in the room? You can't see them behind closed doors so whats the problem?

You might be turned off by the idea of sleeping with a member of the same sex, but that doesn't mean that everyone else has to be the same. Sexuality varies on a continuum for all people; with some people being exclusively gay or straight, and others falling somewhere in between.

Whatever the activity; as long as it doesn't involve/affect non consenting people, injury, children or animals, then its okay if done in private.

You might not like what two gay people do in private, but how does it affect you if its done in private?

What is gayism? Is that like being a homosexual?I know a guy in the Marines who is gay.He is a MP.Yet I don't think he would know what gayism is either.People are people no matter who they sleep with.So what is it your against?People being gay or something else?

If you're not gay then there really isn't a reason to be for or against anything. It really doesn't concern you unless you're gay. That is of course, unless you're sleeping with someone of the same sex.So again, what is gayism?

Well, it is human nature to go against something we do not understand. It's perfectly normal to feel that way... but if it bug's you please do read up on it and you may have a clearer perspective of what it may be like. The link below may help shed some light.

But in true fact... it doesnt really matter if you are for it or against it. We are not asking you to embrace us.. honestly it doesnt make a difference in my live, but what most of us want is not to be discriminated against!

Because we are who we are and we are not going to fade away just as soon as you close your eyes. We are very much real and we are as alive as you are.

**hugs**

1st of all i think that there are more serious isses in the US that need to be addressed besides the usual who's sleeping with who...and 2nd i think that the obsession with homosexuality is just ridiculous. as a lesbian i find the media's/people's religious obsession is unneccesary. i still can't understand why if something does not affect you people still tend to make a big deal about it. i know someone will probably come up and just say "cause it's wrong and that it's a sin" well not everyone's religion affiliates with the bible. remember that.

Have you ever wanted someone to like you, but they didn't and it hurt you? but you never knew why??? Well this is the same principle your applying to being gay. Why are you against them? Did they hurt you in any way, talk about you in negative conotations? Do you actually know any gay people ? Have you been in their company or community. Try to accept a person for being a person first, then for whatever reason you still don't like that person, don't include all people in that category.

Forget about fight, I don’t take even little extra efforts when desired result is very near; most of time it is the case of distance between lip and sip. I take the life as it comes and get contented easily and just by an offer. For example, in my last job, I offered promotion of my choice with good raise, but I still choose to join new company. I got satisfied that I was considered for promotion.

I would suggest that you get to know a few gay people - I say "a few" because there are many different types of gay people - just like there are many different types of heterosexuals.

Walk a mile in my shoes - as it were.

Those who protest "gayism" (sounds like a place for da tourists), usually has his or her own issues with their sexuality.

If you don't understand something, I would think that you would explore more what you don't understand before you establish an opinion.

God bless and good luck!

In all honesty, I don't know what you lose by other people being gay. It's not like if two guys are gay you will stop being able to have heterosexual sex ...In my opinion, people that are against gay people are like people that get pissed off that somebody else likes eating tacos when they don't. I say live and let live.
