Your acne problem sounds fairly severe. I understand that you would like to try home remedies, but I would suggest seeing a dermatologist. There are some really good creams/gels that can help clear your acne pretty successfully.

If you have insurance, the cost of prescribed medication will be less expensive than anything that you can buy over the counter.

If you see a dermatologist, of course they will know all of the acne medications, but here are some that you can do a little bit of research on: Retin-A Micro, Differin, Tretinoin, and BenzaClin.

These are medications that the dermatologists that I work for use most often.

I, myself, have tried Retin-A Micro and BenzaClin. They both work well. Retin-A Micro leaves your face burning like a sunburn for the first few weeks. Your face can also peel. BenzaClin tends to dry your face out a little more. I prefer using BenzaClin.

I have the same problem and these are the options that have worked for me. However, treatment takes more than two days to fully remove pimples. For quickest results apply tooth paste over night on the pimples. This dries out and kills the bacteria in the pimple. You should consider getting someone to put some powder or concealer make up on your back. Anyways here are the remedies I know: 1) tanning will cause pimples to almost completely disappear (please remember to tan in moderation). 2) Saunas will cause all toxins and oils to be sweated out and lead to better healthier skin. 3) Regular face cleaners can be used on the back. Some good products are Retina Micro and Neutrogena "On-The-Spot" acne treatment. 4) Face mask that stiffen and harden almost like clay. This helps dry out pimples. 5) Try not to wear tight clothing and preferably less clothing at night to let your skin breathe. Too much sweating can cause breakouts. Good luck

birth control pills (ortho tri cyclen) cleared my face up when i was like 15. and proactive helped too. But i haven't found anything that works 100%. It always works for a while and then just stops. My face sucks.
