As much as I liked to say, "I don't care about what everyone thinks," I can't...

If this were a planet with only one person, that person truly wouldn't care about what people have to say because there's no one to answer to. But, this world is filled with billions of people (300million US) and you have give a little consideration to what others think/say in order to function well within this global society.

However, you do not have to listen to everyone. This is the key - choice people with opinions that count. Don't get stuck in a group of people that lack a social conscious.

I'm not getting spiritual or religious, I am just saying that some people are helpful and others are just plain hurtful.

An easy way to spot hurtful people - look for the ones that focus too much on physical appearances or characteristics, the idea of being "cool," or the ones that intentionally try to cause mental or physical harm to others.

Helpful people tend to in-courage the best in others and do not request anything in return.

Listen to helpful people not hurtful people.

Good Luck.

Yes and no. If I am going to a job interview or am working, I care what the boss thinks of my performance, not so much what he thinks of me personally. However, I try to be nice to those I work with. I want to be percieved as competant. However, in the world there are alot of jerks out there and you do not need their approval.

I sometimes care. I often cry for those reasons. I don't like to be judged by how I dress, but people keep doing this to me.

everyone says no and thats total BS!!! Yea, i care. not all the time but some. If no one cared whenever they got a compliment on their looks it wouldn't make them feel good because they wouldn't care. And most people like compliments.

Not really. However, if it affects their perception of my ability then that would be concerning. Weight is more a health issue than a public perception.

Nope. If they don't like how I look, then too bad. Naybe I don' like the way they look either. As long as I am comfortable with myself that is all that matters.

Yes, and sometimes too much so. I'm even considering cosmetic surgery.

I'm not super-concerned with my clothes. They don't have to be designer, but they do need to fit right.

I'm a skinny girl and it seems like its every day that people (especially fat people) would make fun of me because I am skinny. They do get under your skin sometimes and they make you think that you're not worthy. They are insecure and they make me insecure.
