The songs you put on the player have to be the lowest possible bitrate. That will take up the least amount of space and give you the most amount of songs, but the songs will sound like crap.

Encode the songs with a lower quality bitrate e.g. 128 instead of 192. This will significantly reduce the space taken up by indivdiual songs.

Try downloading smaller songs, beause the bigger the songs the more space the songs are going to take.

Lower the bitrate you record your songs in.
