If you don't mind the chemicals in her hair you can buy lice shampoo. I for one don't like those chemicals they can damage your hair. You can smother them and condition your daughters hair at the same time. Cover her hair in vaseline and then wrap her hair with plastic wrap. Leave it for 3 days. You will have to wash her hair like 3 times to get all the vaseline out, but you will see that all the bugs are dead and her hair is really nice. Then just come the dead bugs out. Do it again in like 7 days in case any eggs survived and hatched.

You do have to wash everything in your house that lice can cling to with hot water. Or buy that lice spray to pray down the furniture.

Go to your pharmacy and they sell a special shampoo to kill them. Wash all the sheets and if she has any teddy bears that she sleeps with wash them also. Also I would recommend washing you and your husbands hair as well. Lice spread rather quickly. And advice anyone that she has been in contact with that she had them. More than likely they got them too. Some one can get just buy sitting on the same sofa as her. After shampooing her hair there will be a special comb that comes with the box of shampoo. It is a fine tooth comb and just comb through her hair with it to remove the eggs.

Go to the drug store and ask for a lice shampoo to wash the hair with. You ususally have to redo the shampooing a few days later. it will tell you on the box. Also wash all the bedding and clothes she has touched with hot water and a disenfectant such as Lysol. Have her only use her own towel facecloth clothes and bedding and not let anyone else touch them.

Wash hair w/ lice shampoo and pick out nits with lice comb, and blow dry hair as hot as can be tolerated! Wash all bedding DAILY, including pillow(s)! Use HOT iron on seams of bed and all bedding! Spray bed and toys with lice spray! Put all stuffed toys (dolls included) in trash bag for 2 weeks. Repeat as needed!

you have to wash her hair so many times. of coarse i have never really had the experience, but my friend did. she said she had to wash her hair like 4-5 times in a row in the shower. Also, talk to your doctor and maybe you can find a medicated shampoo for your daughter. maybe go to some drug stores and look for lice shampoos! Good luck!

Wash, wash, wash everything that can be washed in hot water, things that can't be washed need to be put into a plastic garbage bag for a couple weeks. Get the lice comb and comb her hair every day. It probably wouldn't hurt to comb thru your hair (just to be sure). REMEMBER DON'T SLACK OFF! good luck!

I always go to my hometown in Argentina and get lice. Everynight instead of washing with shampoo, pour vinegar on you head for a few days and it'll go away. It works and its natural.

Just ask local pharmacist....they should know the best stuff. Be sure to wash all bed linens. Pillows can be put in drier on hot to kill lice.
