Some of the best rides I've been on have been at Paramount Canada's Wonderland. Definately my favorite is The Bat. It has two corkscrew loops and the ride starts up with the trains being pulled backwards until you're up really high on a really steep angle looking down. Then all of the sudden it releases and you go tearing through the loops to the other side. Then, it starts pulling you up the slope on the other side. All you see is the sky above you until all of a sudden the trains release, and you zoom through the loops backwards. So fun... you hold your breath just waiting for it to release... its the best going through backwards.
Hopefully that was helpful. I tend to ramble.
Cheers!

anything at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. i grew up in Michigan just 2 1/2 hours away, and we'd go there every single summer.
they come out with a new ride every year---usually trying to be the biggest and the best in the nation/world---meaning, they've got some pretty kick-*** rides.
top-thrill dragster is great, as is the millenium force...but my all-time fave is the magnum xl 200, it's a classic and never gets old. (oh yea, the wicked twister, power tower, mantis, and raptor are amazing rides, as well.)
cedar point...best theme park EVER

I hate that one theme park in Florida where none of the 'rides' are real rides. They are just movies with moving chairs. it drove me cazy!
