There's this girl I work with. She's 18 and I'm a little older. Well the promble is she won't work. All she like to do is talk on her cell phone all night while we're at work. Then when it get close for the boss man th come in, she'll ask the men who mop the floors on the other side to come on our side and help her out. I don't think that's fair. I have to do my work, why can't she do hers. I went to the boss man to talk to him. At first he would turn his head. I had to set him straight. At first thing was getting better. Now it back to the way it was. What piss me off is after talking on the cell phone all night, when the boss come in, she runs in the office and lay her head on the desk like she been working all night. What do you think I should do. Please tell me.

Honey, you answered a questiona few seconds ago and I don't think she wanted racist jokes. She wanted RACEY jokes which means on the edge kinda pushing the limits of what the authorities will tolerate. So make sure you know these things before you call names

So long as she doesn't ask you to help her, don't worry about it. If the men from the other side are silly enough to help her out, it's their problem. There's really not much you can do. Only when those men stop helping her and she'll be forced to finish her work, will she learn. Right now, she's just playing the game because she can get away with it, but eventually, it'll backfire.
I would stop worrying about it. The more you go to the boss, the worse it'll look for you because he'll think you're a complainer.
If she asks for help after a night of chatting on the phone, make up some excuse, saying you have to go home for some reason and let her deal with it. Some people simply have to learn the hard way.

Report it to the HR. If you have a system in the office that allows for peer evaluation, raise that concern. Your office mate is not showing a good example and is cheating your office. She's paid to work. But if you do get the courage to report it, be ready with evidence. The burden of proof lies in the "accusing" party, not the defending one.

I'm sure you are probably not the only one with this problem, some people always take advantage of others if they let them. Eventually it will catch up to her, but in the meantime, does your boss have a boss you could report up to?

As long as you are not doing her work for her, leave her alone. Who cares if she's not working?
If you are doing her work, then stop. Tell her to pick up the pace, because you won't do her work for her. And then don't.

i work with someone just like that
the best advice i can give you is just ignore her i mean as long as you don't end up doing her work just don't let it get to you, you know because this one time she just brought her stuff and set it on my table and just walked away that got me so mad i just threw it out lol yeah i know lol but if she's not making you do her work just ignore her
