Cheney may be a mean-spirited, soulless SOB, but at least he is competent. I think his worldview is screwed up beyond all belief, and he is utterly clueless about Iraq, but he does have some understanding of how the government functions.
Dan Quayle can barely spell and makes George W look like a rhetorical genius.
"I didn't live in this century"?
"If we do not succeed, we will fail"?
And Buzz Lukens walking on the moon.

Quayle was always portrayed as a kid and mispelled potato. Cheney is portrayed as a sadist and shot someone and told someone to go F themselves in congress...

Geoge W. has a better Vice President. I could never understand why George (41) picked Dan Quyal for VP. He has no special talents or history of accomplishments.

lol, I think Cheney is better because he's not big into politics and he pretty much tries to keep to himself. He would never run for president.

We just had to deal with them and live with the problems they put for us to live with later.
