Big thanks to our Soldiers, contractors, other helpers in Iraq, to the majority of the public, the Iraqi people, and the politicians who have stuck with Iraq.

Didn't know that but DID KNOW that over 100 police radios were purchased for over $365.00 EACH when USED ones would have been OK from a US city with US city getting NEW ones...but USA has done tremendous GOOD in Iraq contrary to what drive-by media says when gloating about two tortured booby-trapped murdered eyeball devoured GIs!

No matter how much you try to educate people on the truth in Iraq many don't want to listen. Why do you think the insurgents are killing so many civilians in Iraq? Because they are afraid of the world knowing that Arabs can be intelligent, successful and that the people of the United States and it's allies are not "evil"

Did you know that they have the U.S. Military and British Military to thank for such progress. More importantly, did you know that on average, two American soldiers are killed per day while paving the way for such progress. And did you know the reason information you described is scarcely reported by the media is that the majority of the population isn't concerned as much with what progress has been made, they are concerned with our young men and women being killed and severely injured in a war in which the reasons given are slowly be proven as lies, and that the war was already being planned by our President prior to his election. Did you know that a much greater threat is evolving from N.Korea, and that yesterday, Thursday 062206 the President ordered our miltary was put on high alert, and he ordered 1000 nuclear missile sites to be on the highest alert and ordered the missiles be redirected and ready for immediate launch in case N.Korea's plans to test a long range nuclear missile is directed toward the U.S., without regard to intent or accident; and that he ceased communication with Kim completely. I'm happy for the emerging freedoms and progress made in Iraq, but more concerned about our casualties and real threats, and a President I don't trust or have much confidence in; and by the way, is casually eroding our founding fathers great insight in writing a constitution that provides all the protections that make a war worth fighting in the first place. Did you know that yestarday also, the Pentagon declared homosexuality a disease, which is in stark contrast to thelatest scientific studies, including one which identified a gene in the DNA linked to the genetic predisposition of homosexuality. That announcement by the Pentagon comes at a conveinent time, when the Republican Party is losing support, and in my opinion a political move from higher authority since adding an ammendment to the Constitution is unlikely, because it specifically contradicts other portions of the Constituition as well as the Declaration intentions gauranting the people the "right to pursue happiness" and the provisons of the Constitution which clearly guaranties "due process" provisions in legal proceedings which are also being deleted by our Presidents policies and actions which directly conflict with previous court upheld "right to privacy" gaurantees. It reminds me of a quote I remeber made by a founding father whom I regretably can't recall or qoute exactly, but basically said "A goverment which sacrifices a portion of it's guarantees of it's people rights in the name of protecting and preserving its safeguard and survival deserves neither." I've devoted my life to a career based on protecting those freedoms and guarantees of our constitution, and it hurts me to see them randomly revoked for any reason. If the Iraqi leader Sadaam was such a serious threat to our country, why didn't George W.'s father address the matter the first time rather than withdraw. It's only my opinion, but I believe our President attacked Iraq in retaliation for the assasination plot it planned against his father, and to stabilize that country for future oil resources. China and N.Korea have just as bad leaders as Hussein and are a much greater threat to us, yet I've yet to hear any concern about freeing its people from murderous leaders who actually have weapons of mass destruction. Our military deserves all the credit and respect and thanks we can give them. No doubt. A former Dallas PD depuy chief left and is in charge of all the training for the Iraqi police.I know what she's up against because she reports to friends and colleages regularly. I'm greatful for the freedom's we are trying to provide it's people, and all the progress you mention. I'm just as concerned about our own freedoms and daily losses of life. By the way, did you know our goverment still has not provided the safety equipment needed for our troops; better vests and helments, armored vehicles to name a few. But it has no problem providing "pork" items attached to bills that could be so much more wisely spent.
