Well on a certain level I definitely agree, however in the sense that life is so complicated on its own, kindness is not what will always take you everywhere. Indeed it will get you far in life, but there are certain things that go along with it; honesty, sincerity, loyalty, trust, etc... So to say I completely agree would be a lie, but too would be a lie if I said I disagreed.

I am as kind as kind can get and I get Sh** on regularly. It makes for being a really good doormat.
Ensure you don't confuse kind with victimized.

Being kind is important but don't think it is all important. treating others as you would yourself on that i wholeheartedly agree.
