I have been w/ my boyfriend for 7 months. I'm Armenian and he is Mexican. We love each other very much and we will be spending the rest of our lives together. We are both 21. However, my parents didn't approve of him, my mom started monitoring my cell phone calls, and i stopped going out. I can't see or talk to him like i used to. This has driven me to depression and I'm always sad n hurt. I am planning on moving out w/ him eventually after we both get more settled. I lie to my parents in order to see him and the only way i talk to him is on the pay phone, from work and on AIM. Any suggestions how I can pull through this. I have seen a therapist once and she made me feel more confident. Everyone (friends, family n coworkers) are against me b/c he is Mexican and I'm Armenian. He treats REALLY well. help please :(

First of all girl you ae 21 i got married at 18. Not saying its right or wrong but your parent have nothing to say about what you do. Second of all make sure you take it slow. After you dont care what your parents think. Emotions run deep and fast when you are breaking out on your own. Make sure this is what you really feel before you go any farther.

If you both are 21, you are legal to do whatever you want to do. First, move out of mom/dad's house. You are old enough to control your life now.
