How come girls don't want to be friends with girls anymore? I have tryed to talk to a lot of girls online but as soon as they find out they are talking to another girl they ignore me (except a couple who were lesbians). What is wrong with having girlfriends? Is everyone over run by there hormones?

The way your writing it , might be giving a wrong ideals .Try saying straight single female , new in area , any ladies can tell me where all the cute guys are hanging out in this town ? The word girlfriend first comes to mind relationship , now days to many people.My friend , is like a sister to me but I'd never call her my girlfriend , unless this guy just won't leave me alone at the club then I'll say something about her , That other lady is my friend , and I really love her , he'll assume I'm a lesbian. When she comes back to the table I'll tell her and she'll say don't do that crap ! What if he's here with someone one of us would like ? Wording can change how people react .Yes I love her and she is my friend ( still after I pulled that , it was close to ending .LOL ).

Yes, it's a competition but not all women/girls are in the same race. You have brains and are seeking fun and friendship, they don't know any more than how to entire men/boys. Their entire focus is on how to catch men/boys. It's sad but true. When you are a brain surgeon, making millions and loving your work, they will be getting discount botox injections while working as third rate waitresses at greasy spoons. Keep looking, there are tonnes of great women and girls - not lesbians either - who seek great friendships.

Haha! I often wonder the same thing. It seems many people online find it "weird" talking to someone of the same sex - many people are just looking for someone to flirt with or create some kind of weird cyber affair with.
I've been looking for girl friends in r/l and online for a loooong time - they are hard to find, especially the ones that are decent! LoL

Well, I think they are not interested in the same sex as theirs.
Like, whenever I see a girl's/or a womans questions.
I answer it readily and wit full concentration. And I mostly see a boy's answer chosen as the .best answer.
So maybe, I think everybody has an attraction to the opposite sex....^_^

to tell u the truth i think its that every1 wants a boy friend and their interested in only 1 thing {u know what}

because a lot of girls say that girls just cause drama ... and that they get a long better with guys .. i have a LOT of girls that are friends and they always tell me this ... but ah well . maybe there just trying to find a guy to ? hehe

i really don't know, happens to me the same, seems to be that most of women hate women,it s so sad, but i have some friends on net, and thanks God they are not lesbians we are a nice group of married women, if u want to join us u are welcome, the only thing is that we are a religious group, but we support each others and chat and learn together and even meet the ones that live in my country, very nice really.
