I'll say the Lakers. Knowing Kobe's history of making everyone around him better and sacrificing for the team-- him being the

best player with some decent offseason acquisitions will make them the favorites. And yes Kobe Bryant is the best in the leauge-

-- so what Wade won the belt and finals MVP?? Kobe would've done the same thing---- but he was mentally distrought in 04' and

karl was hurt. Kobe can do anything-- I love him, everybody does. LBJ?? not even close. Just because he scores and passes

and rebounds about the same as Kobe-- you cant forget Kobe can make some crazy fadaways from the corners all the time!!

He's better than MJ and Larry put together. Watch, he'll win 10 championships in a row and MVP every year starting next. 11th season is the lucky one!

I like Phoenix..Amare Stoudamire returning gives Phoenix true interior offense/defense. You won't see Kobe or Lamar scoring inside at will or Dirk driving inside with confidence. With that, this will not make Diaw a top priority since opponents will focus on Stoudamire and Canadian. Steve Nash needs a good back PG since he is gettin old, but things will become easier for him once Stoudamire is back. Shawn Marion will have more freedom, and the same with their perimeter players. Heck..I see their defense improving because of this which will make them EVEN MORE deadly on offense and better on defense.

Another one is Dallas, because the Spurs aren't getting younger (Ginobli at 30, Duncan at 32+, Horry 30+, Nazr at 30+, Barry at 30+, Finley at 30+, Van Exel at 30+). So yea. Howard is young, Devin Harris is young and they will be coming around. Devin Harris is basically the next Tony Parker except Devin has a jump shot. They will most likely release Van Horn, Armstrong might stay, Griffin is an excellent defender/rebounder. Josh Powell is still young, and Dirk is gonna become a better driver (you saw that in game 6). All the Mavs need is a true spot up 3 point shooter, and I think that will help them a lot. Plus, their defense will become better cuz of Little General.

Finally, I have the Heat ONLY if Alonzo and Payton don't retire. Payton played important minutes in the 4th, Alonzo was a very good presence inside with his blocking and limited drivers a lot. If those two leave, it would mean Jason Williams to play more minutes, and he is old himself. If they do get another PG, most likely he will be young and not experienced enough. James Posey will be entering his 9th year, and Shaq will need to stay healthy physically and injury wise. If he suffers some problems or isn't physically ready like he was this year, then things might go wrong.

Next year is gonna be crazy. If Amary comes back healhty the suns will a be a force to be reckoned with. If the lakers get a big men and better players around kobe i say the same as the suns. You know the spurs are gonna come back as great as ever. Am not so sure about rhe piston. If they trade ben it will the end of that. If they dont they NEED a a better bench. Dallas is young thell come back to be a contender. Miami it all depends on the players they get to sorround wade and the big man. if zo stays for one more year thats a good advantage too but they need a better bench players that can score and play good D. But hey they got da best man in the NBA so ofcourse thell be a contender I think they should of gotten ron artest to. They need to trade walker and psey for him becuase i think that would be just the most aswome team ever is artest is thier. Riley COULD handle him hes the points and D they need.. I think orlando weil, step up 2. Dwight hower is a rebound machine and a pressense. I would put iverson on hes team dat would be crazy and Kevin Garnette with Kobe. That big men swing men theme has be proven to work. U know ur scorer and ofcoursr ur big man. Sacramento needs a real center brad milelr is over rater. they need a shooting guard and more big man and players that can score and jsut size. The knicks are a mess. the clippers are LAs team. with Elton brand i dont see why they cant win a chmapionship they jsut need to tinker a lil bit and i see the clippers doing big things next year. Elton brand is a future hall of famer. The wizards need big men that play D. they have the scores they jsut need sum size and better defenders. The hawks have alot of young talent wit alot fo potential. houston could be back to da playoffs if Yao plays as good as he was at the end of the year and tmac comes back healthy. The raptors are in good shape with Chris Bosh and if they play thier cards rite with their draft pick they got a bright future. Milwauke has alot of potential as well. Micheal redd and bogut and tj ford are da future for dat theme. A lil but if tinkering and thell be alrite. The hornet have chris paul. Thatt kid is off the chain. Aswome. future champion. TYhey jsut need sum big men and a gopod shooting guard with sum good players to srround him. The Cavaliers have lebron. They get a good point guard plus a second and third scoring option to help lebron and thell be in good shape. The nets are in good shape as well. few more chnages and thell be up thier. They have aswome tallent. The bulls are also a young team with emense potential. They get a good draft a couple of trades and we coulod see a second cming of the bulls. One of my personal favs. Very tallented but need epxiereince and asum role players. the blazers are a mess. the bobcats expansion team enougn said. the teams i mentiooned re pretty much it.With themost potential. Next year is gonna be crazy. This is like sum sord of NBA rennaisance. i havent talent like this since the 80s.

I'm going with Cavs. Since Detroit Pistons are so good on defense, Cavs will get a blend of offense, defense, and more FTs. Look for LeBron as NBA MVP and Finals MVP.

well, we live in an age where stars carry the team... look at all the good teams this year... miami- Wade, dallas- Novitski, phoenix- nash, cavs-lebron, lakers- kobe, philadelphia- iverson... so look for some of those teams to make a run for it...
