I'm so sorry about your dog. Hope you are alright. I have heard that if you do not have a basement that a bathroom might offer protection because of all the plumbing and close walls. Now that it has passed, go online with the weather channel and see what they say. You need expert advice.

Turn the computer off and get in the basement, an inside windowless room, or something. Don't just sit at the computer waiting for it to hit.
