Animals that lack eyelids. In addition to fish and snakes true geckoes of the family Gekkonidae also lack eyelids. Several cave dwelling salamander species with rudimentary eyes also lack eyelids. Oh yeah, don't forget the most uncelebrated Squamates: The Amphisbaenians, they also lack eyelids. Sorry for saying lack eyelids in every sentence.
