Yes he should be held accountable, but no he won't be held accountable. The reasons are complex and more than can be reasonably written here. Its sad though, isn't it? Such a waste of life on a conflict that began with a shootout between the wrong combatants, then escalated to a point where neither could separate and re-think the wisdom of it all. Too many in our government are now in denial and the body count continues to climb.

In an ideal world a leader who deliberately takes a country to war on false pretenses would not only be impeached, but convicted and spend the rest of his life in jail.

In our world political parties rule the bodies which have the authority to hold our leaders to account. They have no incentive to do so.

He did Ok until Iraq. He fumbled that one bad. I think he's honestly trying his best as a leader but he has surrounded himself with some real cronies and crooks.............

He won't be held accountable. The administration will just use another fall guy. That's the risk you take with a successful Washington career....

What deceit are you talking about? Have you forgotten about 9/11. We were attacked by a race of people that want to see you and me dead. What is happening needs to continue. Use your energy to support our troops.

Yes he should be held accountable, but he probably won't look at which party controls everything, including the supreme court.

Haven't you heard the news? There were WMD's in Iraq all along, it just took us this long to find them. Thank goodness we found them before the Salafist murderers did. I shudder to think of what they would have done.

Politicians lie but won't be able to get away with it for long. Lying dictators fall harder.

Will it happen? I doubt it.
