To wear black socks or white socks would depend on what you plan to wear. Just remember that white socks will show dirt quicker than black socks.

Dear person of wonder. I think you should wair whatever makes you happy. If you get up and think. "MAN! I wanna wair me some white socks." Than do it!!! BUT!!! If you get up and think, "Man, I wanna wair me some black socks!" Than you just go on with your bad self! But you really wanted to give the world a spin!!! Than wair both!
So, just take it one day at time. And relax and let the good times roll!

White will more likely be appropriate with what you wear. Black socks only go with black pants.

white is more regular color to where if you were shorts black if your shoes stain your white sock only with pants don'twant look like a clown

why dont you try some fun ones.. why be plain.. mix it up with polka dots or stripes...
try american eagle they have fun ones!
