I think this is a load of crap. I am an adult only child and decidedly happy. You are responsible for your life and for creating your own happiness. Sounds to me like the poster of this question is looking for something to blame instead of taking responsibility for their problems.

You make your own happiness in life. There is no reason not to be happy if you REALLY want to be. Look at all the people in life that are suffering, yet DECIDE to be happy. You might want to decide to be happy, and DO IT.

they are so unhappy because they have no brother or sisiter to share thier life with, or share stories or compare life with.thats why they are so unhappy.
