Do the pharmaceutical companies just want to kill the old people off? Maybe the government wanted to help the companies out because they cannot have the elderly worked like slaves, like they do to everyone else.

Prescriptions are high for everybody; but the Government plan is for you to die before you use much of the benefits. I am a baby boomer and I can list the ways the Govt encouraged the early demise of my generation. Including but not limited to, encouraging cig smoking for glamorous and hip thing to do, spraying DDT on community pools, teflon coated frying pans..etc. Now that the population is decreasing for the working field, we try harder to keep the survivors healthy. Of course we seem to have a war for every generation which helps even out the field.

It would be nice for a grassroots group to get the required signatures for a bill to be introduced that once you retire your taxes are capped.
