yes that is to small its a great starter bike now you need to think about what type of riding you do? the race bikes like YZ, KX.RM and such will have much more power but the power is at high RPM,s this makes them a little tough to ride in tight trails and woods but great in open area's the other type of bike is an enduro this will have more low end tork and trail ride better and still have lots of power but will not keep up with the race bikes i like a 250cc my self but it is a big jump from a Dr100 to a KX250 you might like the 125 .the 125 is fast but the 250 has more tork and is even faster. also there 4stroke race bikes now too but these are 400cc and similar animals to a 250cc 2stroke well if you are going to keep riding and getting better i would get a 250 and be careful till you get used to it you will be happy

no you need to go ahead and get a 125 two stroke or a 250 two stroke because i weigh 155 and i ride an 85cc dirt bike and it barely bets me aroung the track and the newer bikes have more get up and go on kawisaki get an '03 125 that is the most powerful kaw but 02 was the best year for suzuki now husky had its year in 03 too but honda just sucks all around if they would take there freakin speed reducers out they might go a little bit faster they just do that to pass all the tests that europe does to make sure they are safe

You can have a lot of fun with DR100, you will know when you need more power. If your just playbiking a modified dual sport will probably be best. It may not have ultimate power output but is much easier to ride. For used bikes find any of the Honda XL/XR 200/250/350/400 from about 1980 on, Suzuki DR 350/400 from 1990 on, or Kawasaki KLR250's 1995 on. Any of these should be cheap enough you to beat on and probably easier to ride as they will fit you better.

Just check the owners manual of what ever bike your looking at. It will tell you max load. The bike will move what ever the size but if the bike is too small there is a higher chance something will break. I am 250lbs and I can ride a 50cc mini bike down the street not recomened but funny as hell and proves my point.

It depends on what you are using it for. If you are just driving around it would be fine, but if you are off roading and jumping you will probally blow the tires and break shocks. I know i had a honda 100 for my fist bike. After I got to 130lbs had to get a new one beause of tire and shock problems.

Answer this question yourself --Does it have enough power to get up and go when I want it to to pull me uphill. If slow and easy is how you like to ride then OK If not Than you can trple or quadruple the size to get you where you want to go
