More than likely it is a spider bite. If you were alergic to a bee sting, you would not have been able to type your question. If it itches, is only a slight bit red and is not getting worse, put some Cortizone cream on it. If it is very red, oozing, shows infection, getting worse, GO SEE A DR!

First of all, were you near weeds or woods of any type. It could be that it is not a bee sting, but instead poison Ivy or poison oak. If there is a slight rash it could be either. If you have a buring, stinging sensation and your arm is swelling, or having trouble breathing, then it could be a but bite or bee sting. If swelling or breathing problems occur, get medical attention immediately. Have you checked to make sure that you had no ticks on you after you came back from your bike ride to the creek? Either way, seeking medical attention is the best way to go.

If it was a bee sting you would have known it when you got it because they hurt . What you have is a mosquito bite . There are medications you can put on it to stop the itching . It's not an allergic reaction or the symptoms would be more severe .

Your fear of being allergic is your worse enemy. If you really are concerned then go to a walk in Clinic and get treatment. If it were me, I would take a benedril (I might have spelled that wrong) pour alcohol over the bite until the itching stops, make a cup of my favorite drink and put on a good movie. Forget about it and give it time to heal.

bee stings usually don't itch- if it is a bee sting try holding a fork or spoon (anything with stainless steel) on the bite. that counteracts the sting and stops the pain. If it is just really itchy it might be another kind of bug bite. definitely see a doctor if you are feeling ill because of it.

If you were allergic you should have an immediate reaction like swelling. Call your family dr. or the emergency room and just ask them what to do.

A dose of Benadryl may not hurt. My daughter's pediatrician told me to have it on hand in case she got stung by a bee or wasp.

If you were allergic you would have gotten very sick very quickly. If it continues to bother you then go see a doctor.
