Funny question.
Let's see... organic compounds. Chemical Abstracts registry has something like 16 million organic compounds.
Don't think that all are only carbon, hydrogen and oxygen made.
Take into consideration also nitrogen, sulphur, the hallogens, a lot of the metals from Mendeleev table...
So, there is no 3 letter word linked to chemistry able to be the source of all organic compounds.
Someone said SUN. Hmmm... It may be right. Big bang, billions and billions of years of random chemistry, evolution, and so on.
As it's all theory, even well documented, it's still theory and I don't think is the best answer.
That's why I would propose GOD...
