how to get input from client microphone using javascript?

i m working on a voice chat application. i m using asp.nety, ms sql server .javascript & html. plz tellme how to get audio from client machine & send audio to client

As far as I know, there is no direct way to get microphone input in Javascript. I've browsed through my Javascript bible, and there's nothing there regarding voice or microphones.
