Generally, married people say it does. But the reasons for being so vary and are subjective in nature. For many couples, the diminishing slope for sex drives is caused by the great responsibilities that marriage entail. Providing for the family requires a lot of energy and hard work. The provider comes home so tired that he might just sleep and rest all the night. No sex.

For some, too much familiarity breeds contempt. Once this is so, sexual drives go down to the max. No sex.

For others, monotonous partner drives one not be too much enthusiastic or interesting to have sex with him or her. Most of the time...no sex.

For a few, the reason is having an affair with another person which gets the sexual encounters more often than the spouse.

Considering the reasons above, I would say that the veracity that sex diminishes after marriage is great but not 100% correct because there may be couples who still enjoy having sex with each other after being married for many years and the reason for this is undying enjoyment with each other derived from sexual attraction and satisfaction and the greatest of all reasons, true love.

yeah I guess so. After marriage you get busy into so much other stuff that sometimes it diminishes with time. Should try to find out how to make it spicy..... like trying something new every few months.
