any ideas on how to up my practice...?

I am a personal life coach, and I am having a hard time creating clients, I am looking for some good marketing ideas...

A few free resources – check out the sources box for links:

1) Create a blog pertaining to your field

2) Use Yahoo! Local & Yahoo! Groups – Be sure to read the TOS for each one!

3) Write articles pertaining to your field and/or expertise.

4) Advertise on Craiglist

Also, consider signing up for an affiliate program. These programs enable you to advertise on other's sites (your affiliates) and once a sale is made to you, your affiliates & the program are paid a commission.

Marketing a Job that your Clients can do in their part time and that would keep their minds active and put them on a path to happiness and freedom - financially/emotionally/and just all around give them a sense of security and confidence!!! I personally know the perfect new Job which has done all of that for me in just no time at all. I really needed HELP!!! The company is ACN!!!!!!!!!!!! By letting your clients know that you can offer this type of HELP they would trust that this might be their answer to their prayers and a change in their life for better. Hey when your down theirs no way but up!!!

you need to be talking to any one and every one. give gift cards to people who refer you. get involved in the bni network. they work on referal basis. since your practice in personal you have to be accessable and you have to be in the public. little league games, at the y. or a gym. the more you are in the public the more they will associate your name with things they are involved in .
