Ran into each other at his work after several years. Started e-mailing, exchanged #'s & keeps it a secret? I found an e-mail from "Maria" when he forgot to log out of his e-mail. I asked him who it was. He said someone he used to work with. I asked why he had never told me about her & he admitted that he used to date her. I asked if he ever used her number, he said no, but admitted he lied. So time went on & he continued this communication. She started coming into his shop to "Pay the bills for her company" (Hers was a customer to his) She wore his favorit color, came at his lunchtime & she was "all made up". He said he wasn't really happy at that job & look for another one. Which he found. So he brought "stuff" home, like most people do when they leave a job. There were e-mails that said "You LOOKED good" & "I wish I wasn't married so I could spend more time with you" (actual quotes) - My question: In your opinion, where was this headed? Please serious answers only - this really hurt

Your boyfriend/husband is probably just enjoying the ego-massage. I'm sure there's a reason why they are "exes" and I'm sure he hasn't forgotten that.

Well, they have been married or involved deeply to each other, so it sounds like they still have feelings for each other. It is possible that they both figured out they were more happy together than with their current spouses.
It's impossible to say how far they did go, I read one time that 1 out of 3 divorced couples have sexual encounters after they divorced.
The only thing you can do is to dicuss it openly with your husband, tell him you are hurt (but don't be hysteric, lol, your goal is to have communication about it, not to create a crisis).
Tell him he has to stop it. They are both married to other persons so they're supposed to move on, otherwise, they may choose to divorce again and come back together but not live in-between.

Uhh..unless you are from another planet..you know exactly where this was headed..and to be honest..being that all this was supposed to be hush hush..you dont know exactly where it went! I'm sure the emails and notes or whatever that were more serious.. were gotten rid of right away.. on the incase that you DID find out. I trust no man and this might be one of the worse that I've seen..besides proof of infidelity. Obviously he wanted to spend MORE time with her..of course they'd gotten together outside work..where when and what.. ?????

well first of all i want to say i'm sorry that hes acting like that but i do think it is probley going in a direction you wont like i dont know if he does remember why they broke up he might once he does spend more time with her but i do think that there is something in between them and i understand it's hard but you should really talk to him about it and let him know that the reletionship he has with her is causeing problems between the two of you and that your reletionship is on the rocks and that if he isnt honest and try to make things work then i think you should look in to getting a divorce or at least see a marrige councelor i wouldnt suggest on getting a devorce right away but to defenetly look into marrige councelor

I would say it is getting about time to see a divorce lawyer. And this is comming from a guys standpoint.
He is most likely getting ready to be starting things up with his old fling again if he isn't already. Most men dont have the same sence of honor and chivilry that they used to have so I would worry if I were you.
