Eternity...duh. Let's face it, Phoenix may be one cool badass nexus of psionic energy, But Eternity is part of the Marvel Universe itself.
That "What if" issue that says Phoenix is more powerful than Galactus is set in a alternate reality and is not to be confused with the regular continuity (which I assume you are talking about).
To the person below me (Pike): Please stop it with your obsession with the Phoenix! It is NOT the most powerful being, although it may be stronger than Galactus, it CANNOT destroy the universe! The only entities to have exhibited universe destroying powers are the Living Tribunal (who CREATED the universe and everything inside it, like the phoenix) and Thanos. Mad Jim Jaspers and Franklin Richards don't count because they can only alter the universe, but not completely destroy it.

hmm....phoenix is an all powerful being but i'm going to have to go with Eternity....why would they battle? She helped eternity by saving galactus from dying during the big bang do that eternity could re-create galactus.....hmm....either way though Phoenix is stronger than Galactus in any reality (to the person above me)...stronger than him and will always be stronger than galactus....even though phoenix is my fav. i'm going with eternity since he is part of the universe....but then again, phoenix can destroy the entire universe single handily...hmm?

Eternity is so much more powerful theres no comparation. Eternity is the supreme being of the universe. Phoenix is like a minor god....

Phoenix. Eternity is only about as powerful as Galactus, and a What If issue said that Phoenix was more powerful than Galactus.
