The answer is of course yes. No matter what others may tell you, trust in this, every American media source puts a "spin" to their reporting. The W-5's of journalism reporting are "Who, What, When, Where and Why? These categories always have a unique bias when viewed in the American Continent, I've had the opportunity to observe the way the world news is delivered to the public of many Nations. Now in hind-sight, in my opinion, the United States has 1st place for limiting the reporting of news. (type & variety) Canada gets 2nd place certainly. The United Kingdom takes 3rd. France I believe has its constraints as well, so I'll give it 4th place. Need I mention the former C.C.C.P. , "Mother Russia", and how it very carefuly only allowed "approved reporting" to reach its masses. Anyhow, anywhere, what you see is what your being given.

Unfortunately, yes. News networks are in the business to make money. As a result, they put slants on various stories to engage people's attention so they can sell their advertising spots at a higher rate. However, the slant/bias depends on what network you're watching. Fox News is notorious for being right wing, while others say that CNN tends to be left wing.

Yes, who pays for it? Isn't there a reason why the old people say:
You pay your money and you take your choice." Or keeping in mind both meanings of to fiddle "He who pays the fiddler calls the tune."
