Wich do you prefer? I like having the hard copies of albums because I don't really feel like I'm "owning the albums" otherwise.

If you download music, you can download whole albums. You have to put in the Album name and then look for a rar file. it is much cheaper than buying the album. if you want to do this, go to www.emule.com and then download anything you want.

If you're gonna pay for it, go for the hard copy. As the other user said, Open Office is free and does the same job.

Downloading is just fine to me. I transfer every disc I buy to MP3's anyway... just more convenient.

Some places http://www.RickshawRecords.com offer printable cover artwork, so you can make youir own CD jewel cases too.

buy the CD and rip your own MP3's/WMA's..whatever.
you always have the original, and you can rip at a higher bit rate for better quality instead of lower bitrate rips found on P2P sites...

if you really like the artist, you should just buy the album.

unless you only like one song of theirs, then it'd make more sense to just download.
