Because nothing can happen to you unless He allows it. Have you heard the story of Job? God had a protective hedge atound hom, and the devil basically bet God that if God allowed him to "touch" (meaning cause harm) him that Job would curse God. So God lowered the hedge and allowed the devil to do all that he could. Job lost his family, his home, all his livestock, and his health, but he still gave honor to God. Sometimes God allows you to suffer loss in order for you to remember who and what He is. He's all-powerful and all-knowing. He allows all things, good and bad, to happen to us all. If you've experienced something that's hurtful in your life, He's allowed you to go throught that not for you, but so that you can help the next person. You don't suffer for self, just as Jesus didn't suffer for himself on the cross. He did for us to be forgiven our sins. And in turn, we must go through situations that are less than ideal in order to help our fellow man. I hope this helps. And for all those that don't believe in God, answer me this: How can a brown cow eat green grass and produce white milk? That's the miracle of God's work!

If someone says those words to us and if she or he really means it, may be they say so to give us solace and hope! I would say It's more Hope! An emotion which drives all forward! HOPE that it happened for a reason beyond us...HOPE that our loved one has moved on to a world which is much more happier and wonderful...HOPE that our loved one has become another angel in heaven. It;s an emotion which we dont have to categorize religiously. We can be an atheist and still have hope and belief in someone, something or everyone around us. HOPE that our suffering has some meaning to our very existence.

I personally have little faith in "God's Will" that we suffer...
It is human nature for us to experience love lost, or to suffer... but it is the HUMAN spirit that makes the difference.
Through our lowest of lows and our highest of highs, our human experience grows and expands. I personally believe that we are here to serve and support each other.
Be of good cheer and good will, things will get better...

Everything that we do, say, and experience in one life time or the next. The reason is because we meant to be home in paradise: where their is no pain and the decisions that we make are selves is it fate, destiny, or the will to choose freely.

God's will was for us to learn and if you dont loose something then how would you ever know you felt love and joy. If you dont have those things then life would be boring and remember to have those things you must know what they are to appreciate them. It's all a learning experience.

If I lost a child and someone said that to me, I would tell them to go f*** themselves.

because he put you on this earth and it is his own will to take away who or what you had. Just be glad you had the person or thing in the first place.
