NO! You can keep doing everything you have been doing up until it gets too uncomfortable to do so. I read not long ago about a woman who was a bronc rider in a rodeo who was pregnant, and rode right up until she was about 8 months along. I wouldn't recommend that, but the point is that you can do what your body is accustomed to doing! Congratulations!!

In normal circumstances, you should be able to continue the same physical activities you always did. Unless you have complications, keep it up, staying fit is the best thing you can do for your baby, being a couch potato and eating a lot is the worst thing you can do. Keep your doctor posted on what kind of activity you do and let him help guide what you should and shouldn't be doing. Your uterus is an amazingly strong and protective environment. Unless you get a swift kick in the gut from a horse in the third trimester, not much can hurt the baby.

Running is actually recommended by some doctors and is healthy for you baby, but don't overdo it because that might not be too good. I exercised during both of my pregnancies and I found that most times the running helped calm my nausea and braxton hicks contractions. Good luck

Book 1: 'Jogging: This is very hard on your breasts and jarring for your back, spine, pelvis, hips and knees. Don't jog when pregnant'.
Book 2: 'Exercises that only a well-trained, experienced athlete should engage in during pregnancy: Jogging, up to three kms per day, preferably on a treadmill or on even terrain'.

Nope, you can do anything that you have been doing i.e. what you are conditioned to, doing physically while you are pregnant. Now is not the time to be training for new sports that your body isn't used to. I took Tae Kwan Do while I was preggie. Make sure not to rush yourself, and talk to your OB. Have fun! You'll need all of that exercize for the big delivery day!

No, when I was pregnant with my son I was running a couple miles a day too. After a while my doctor slowed me down to walking. Just talk to your doctor about it, he will advise you when to slow it down.

My OB/GYN didn't discourage it; her advice in my first trimester was to do it if it felt comfortable and to not start any new type of exercise. Your best source for answers will be your OB/GYN. Take note of your pulse and generally how you feel after a run. Glad you're an exercising mommy!

Ok, please stop running. You can walk for 2 miles daily. And you can carry on with your regular work. Please avoid lifting heavy weight. Have lot of fresh fruits and juice. Wish you all the best. If you give birth to a boy. Keep my name your baby. My name is Ganesh
