I'm 20 years old, have brown hair and brown eyes, and light-medium complexion. What colors would look good- and how can I avoid cakey foundation?

There are some really great light and airy foundations available on the market today. The best way avoid a cakey foundation is to find one of these. Anything that says "sheer cover" is a good bet. Use a little concealer for any trouble spots in team with the lightweight foundation and you'll look really natural.

Also, stick with a light blush as it will blend with your skin tone more naturally and not draw attention to your makeup. Afterthat, I would suggest using a small bit of powder to seal everything and get rid of shiny without looking totally matte.

Your eyeshadow should not depend on your dress color, ever. It should complement your eyes and make them pop. Brown eyes can pull of most anything (you lucky duck), but look great in colors of similar tone.

I thought this would be a good little eyeshadow color help. There are lots of choices that would look great. Women at most cosmetic counters in the mall, or wherever have a great handle on colors and would be happy to help, also.

You should use a hot pink for eyeshadow and use black eyeliner. Then use a nice and rosy color for the blush to make your cheekbones show.Get a hot pink lipliner, then get a very light gloss which has a little pinkish tone in it.And to ifnish off the look you always have to add a little accessories."A girl can't have too many accessories.Get a hot pink purse to go with it.And some hot pink jewelery.Something heavy and fancy. And those nice high heels with the stones on them. The rhinestones should be sparkly white but the shoes should be hot pink.Get white rhinestone gems and stick them to the corner of your eyes.Get sheer cover.Or use concealer. But simply just wash your face with deep cleanser.Apply any kind of cream on it.And then you just simply apply the makeup that I described above.Make sure you use the mascara the extra thick ones. And then you get the eyelash curler and curl your eyelashes with it.

since its a shiny magenta dress i would say dont go for a dark pink or just dark colors i would suggest for you to go for a soft pink not pale soft color with a mix of a very little bit of a darker shade of pink it would look like you going from a light shade to dark (not to dark) beacause then you would put some light glitter silver line across your eye not alot lithtly so people can see the pinkish color and a little bit of the silver running across the top dont put to much glitter or to dark of pink shade you dont want ppl to think you tryed to hard it will look really cute garenteed and make sure its a little bit lighter color with your dress sometimes matching eyeshadow with clothes doesnt work out so well curling your lashes helps especialy with the silver glitter.

I would try a pale pink or a light grey color. Once you apply the eye shadow, take a power sponge and lightly dab your eyes. This helps the color to stay and sometimes avoid flaking.

if you have it use a brush on foundation like bare minerals, so you don't get that cakey look. For your eyes try a nice gold or chocolate color with a shimmer in it. Also use a shimmer powder all over. I think that you will look fab!!

Choose a shimmer silver shadow. It's look glamourous with magenta and it looks so nice with brown hair! :)

That color is a lil to vibrant for the dress, i think you need more of a gold base and a wine color or if your looking for more of a purple go darker?
