That depends on whether enough volcanic activity occurs within a brief time. The Krakatoa eruption in the late 1800s cooled the earth significantly. Would another eruption like that start an ice age? Probably not one eruption but several would be necessary.

And then there's always the possibility of the earth being struck by a asteroid, or nuclear winter...anything's possible.

I don't think it will happen and a few years but global warming causes the polar caps to melt which puts more fresh water in are salt water and can cause changes in global temperature and tides current flow which will cause a shift in temperature worldwide very quickly causing another iceage which does not cover the entire world from the north down To about central America and south upwards words the middle of south America only the rest of the world will have moderate summers and cold winters

i dont think so..if any thing maybe a massive flood...the ozone layer isn't too healthy ya know but not in a few years
