Will simply providing the name of the attorney I am using be sufficient?

File what?

You can file (make a motion) for a continuance, but if the opponent objects and the court agrees, the hearing will go forward.

You indicate you have an attorney. Is there some reason he hasn't answered this question?

For what? A continuance? No, it is too late, your lawyer is your counselor, you must attend the hearings, or be held in contempt of court, with a warrant out for you.
